Lap Swimming & Water Walking
Note: All the times posted for Pool 1 & Pool 2 are Open/Lap Swim unless noted “Lap Swim Only.”
Pool 1 is 25 yards in length (36 laps = 1 mile) and lap swimming is available during recreational swim times. Click the button below to view the Pool Schedule.
Pool 2 is 20 yards in length (45 laps = 1 mile) and lap swimming and water walking is available whenever Pool 2 is open. View the full pool schedule through the button below.
What is Open Swim?
Open swim is a scheduled time for members and guests to utilize the open areas in the pool for recreational swim and family time. Certain areas may be closed off due to other activities taking place.
What is Lap Swim?
Lap Swim is a schedule time for members and guests to get a great workout swimming lengths of the pool. Lap swimmers have precedence over water walkers when a water exercise class is not in session.
How many Lap Lanes are available?
Typically three lap lanes are available are in each pool. The number of lanes is subject change depending on swimming lessons, water exercise and various other aquatic activities.

Hammer Heads Swim Team
A Special Olympics program, designed specifically to teach swimming to special needs children & teens. Hammerheads is a joint venture between the Special Olympics and the YMCA. After learning to swim, we encourage your child to join the Hammer Heads Swim Team in competitions at Special Olympic swim meets and other specially designed swim meets.
